josh-viewbooks

Temple University's school of the arts has a nice viewbook online. I like the use of full page images with text over them and the pattern used throughout.

The Art Academy of Cincinnati designed their viewbook well. The main feature of this design I like is the consistency of the blue shapes in the layout. It keeps the design easy to read and navigate with your eyes.

Moore College has a viewbook with some good and bad features. I like the full page images and quotes, but i do not think the way the red is used as a sort of highlighter in the beginning. I find it effective to differentiate headings, but do not like its aesthetic when used in sentences.

The University of the Arts used images effectively, but makes heavy use of colored text that is underlined, which tends to read as web links in the age of technology. This is somewhat interactive of the designs, with a clickable TOC, animations on page turn, and a navigation panel.

Brandies University had my favorite viewbook. The links on each page would flash highlight when you open the page. The blue color is used nicely throughout. There was a nice mix of image grids and full page images and an overall solid design.
