Mid-Term Project
Real world practice.
Project: Create a 2-D animated advertisement. Topic: Any Chicago area attraction, large or small. Topics could include things like any of the following:
- Cloud Gate (aka The Bean)
- Shorelines Architecture River tour
- the Art Institute
- Graceland Cemetery
- an art exhibit, convention or conference like ExpoChicago, Navy Pier's Sculpture, SOFA, MVCC Juried Student Art Exhibit, etc
- the Little Red School House
- a library like Oak Lawn Library
- a restaurant you frequent like the Valley Inn
- any other place your frequent
- There are many Google Doodles that use animation. Maybe you can create your own Google Doodle to celebrate Chicago!
Deadline: Complete this project during mid-term week, which is March 6–12. Submit via Google Drive Group Folder and write a blog post that discusses your topic and showcases a few screenshots from your animation—no later than March 12th at midnight.
