Real world practice.

Project: Create a 2-D animated advertisement.

Topic: Any Chicago area attraction, large or small. Topics could include things like any of the following:

• Cloud Gate (aka The Bean) 
• Shorelines Architecture River tour 
• the Art Institute
• Graceland Cemetery
• an art exhibit, convention or conference like ExpoChicago, Navy Pier's Sculpture, SOFA, MVCC Juried Student Art Exhibit, etc 
• the Little Red School House 
• a library like Oak Lawn Library 
• a restaurant you frequent like the Valley Inn 
• any other place your frequent
• There are many Google Doodles that use animation. Maybe you can create your own Google Doodle to celebrate Chicago! 

Grade is based on conceptual / visual connection to your concept, animation technique, self-learning, peer-to-peer learning and completion by deadline.

Deadline: Complete this project during mid-term week, which is March 6–12. Submit via Google Drive Group Folder and write a blog post that discusses your topic and showcases a few screenshots from your animation—no later than March 12th at midnight.
